Job summary

RK Industries seeks an experienced HVAC Service Technician to service, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems across RTUs, boilers, chillers, AHUs, and related equipment. You will perform system startups, advanced troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance as part of a safety‑minded, quality‑driven team.

The role requires a current H/CFC universal license and proven ability to work independently on complex mechanical issues, with strong documentation and communication skills for

Qualifications

• Hold and retain relevant H/CFC universal license.
• Experience with RTUs, boilers, MAUs, AHUs, VAVs, fans, pumps, cooling towers, automation systems, chiller equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, boilers, chillers, AHUs, VAVs and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in large-scale equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability, efficiency, and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot BAS, controls, and sensors; read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Document service activities and repair recommendations; ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
