Job summary

Engineering Excellence in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems. You'll independently troubleshoot equipment issues, communicate solutions clearly, and help ensure reliable system performance.

This role offers ownership of more complex work and room to advance to the next level of your profession. The position pays $25 to $55 per hour based on experience and includes benefits such as PTO and company holidays,

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal certification required by federal/state/local regulations.
• Advanced servicing skills for commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate tools and equipment.
• Proficiency with reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Excellent communication with customers and dispatch for service coordination.
• Solid time-management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs commercial service and maintenance calls under supervision.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent failures and callbacks.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Maintains paperwork neatly and communicates status to dispatch.
