Job summary

Leading Mechanical Services Provider in Madison, AL, is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service Technician (A-Tech) to diagnose, repair, and maintain large commercial systems across the Madison area. This field-based role requires independence, strong troubleshooting, and a focus on quality repairs with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, servicing 50–100+ ton equipment, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (7+ years preferred).
• Experience servicing large commercial HVAC systems (50–100+ ton).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on large commercial equipment.
• Service commercial package units 50–100+ tons.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system failures.
• Service and repair rooftop units (RTUs), package units, boilers, pumps, and cooling systems.
• Perform startup, repairs, and system performance testing.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Complete work independently with minimal supervision.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation approximately every 5–6 weeks.
