Job summary

Conditioned Air Solutions in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will evaluate performance, guide clients, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will meet with clients to assess needs, diagnose complex issues on rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handlers, and recommend maintenance or replacement solutions aligned with budgets and energy goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Evaluate system efficiency, safety, and operational performance.
• Meet with clients and facility representatives to assess equipment performance and needs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues on HVAC systems (rooftop units, chillers, boilers, split systems, air handlers).
• Recommend tailored maintenance, repair, or replacement solutions aligned with customer budgets and energy goals.
• Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and routine servicing per manufacturer specs and company procedures.
• Complete service work safely and professionally, documenting work and equipment specs using field service software.
• Perform other duties and specialized project support as requested by management.
