Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification required.
• 4–6 years related experience or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Layout, install, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components and fixtures using hand and power tools based on job specifications, electrical drawings and local codes.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate causes of breakdowns using test equipment and hand tools.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings and BIM drawings to coordinate power, lighting and data locations.
• Direct and instruct apprentices and helpers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring and fixtures safely.
