Ondo Finance is hiring a Senior Counsel, Commercial to partner with business teams and steer complex agreements in a fast-moving fintech and blockchain environment. You will structure and negotiate strategic partnerships, licensing and data agreements while balancing legal risk with commercial goals.

The role requires leading negotiations independently, advising stakeholders on regulatory matters, and building scalable contract processes to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
• 5–8+ years of legal experience at a major firm or high-growth tech/finance company.
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting, regulatory allocation, and data use.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal partner to business development, partnerships, marketing, operations, and other commercial teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate broad agreements including partnerships, licensing, vendor, and data agreements.
• Lead complex negotiations from structuring through execution and renewal.
• Advise on contractual, regulatory, reputational, and counterparty risks.
• Develop scalable contract templates and negotiation playbooks.
• Manage outside counsel and assist with strategic transactions.
