Job summary

Fulton Bank in Hunt Valley, MD seeks a senior administrator to support the Commercial Sales Team. You will lead the preparation of proposals, coordinate meetings, and manage onboarding and banking processes with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in financial administration or sales support, plus strong communication and MS Office proficiency. Hybrid work with 3 days in-office and potential remote days after training.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of administration experience in financial institution or sales environment required.
  • 7+ years in commercial bank sales support or related senior role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of proposals, pitchbooks, and marketing materials for client presentations and business development.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for Commercial Banking team.
  • Facilitate complex client onboarding and commercial deposit account openings.
  • Handle account inquiries, overdrafts, fee refunds, transfers, wires, and other payment processes with high accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Support sponsorships and community event contributions in line with policies.
  • Develop and maintain office procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance.
  • Assist with printing, scanning, and document processing for internal and client projects.
  • Plan and coordinate internal events and community connectivity activities.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office, with the option of 2 days remote post-training. The role will be supporting our Commercial Sales team and be based out of Hunt Valley, MD.

Training travel may be required. Additional travel required up to 1-2 days per month.

This senior role supports the Commercial Sales Team by performing a wide variety of advanced tasks to ensure a seamless client experience, with the objective of building and maintaining a comprehensive client relationship. Requires superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. This role also demands a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Lead the development of proposals, pitchbooks, and other sophisticated marketing materials for client presentations and business development efforts.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Commercial Banking team, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Facilitate complex customer on-boarding and commercial deposit account opening processes.
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding to account inquiries, processing overdrafts, and handling fee refunds as needed. Facilitate transfer requests, wire transactions, and other payment-related processes with a high degree of accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support sponsorships and contributions for community events, ensuring compliance with financial institution policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain office-specific procedures and policies to ensure efficient operations and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Assist with printing, scanning, and document processing as needed for internal and client-related projects.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of internal events and community connectivity activities, including logistics, invitations, and vendor arrangements.
  • Manage T&E (Travel and Expense) reports, PTO (Paid Time Off), and payroll matters for the team, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Act as a liaison between the Commercial Sales Team and other departments to streamline processes and improve communication.
  • Ensure that all financial deliverables are collected timely and to ensure that reporting around financial deliverables is accurate.
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty general studies. (Required)

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty business or related field. (Preferred)

Experience

5 or more years administration in a financial institution or sales environment. (Required)

7 or more years commercial bank sales support or similar senior role. (Preferred)

The hourly rate for this position is $24.81 - $41.35.
