Job summary

American Sound is seeking a Lead Audio-Visual Technician for Covington, KY. The role focuses on commercial AV integration, leading a team to install and support AV systems in corporate, educational, and arena settings.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of AV integration, strong leadership, and experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Cisco, and Poly. On-site work, with travel as needed, benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial AV integration installation experience.
• Experience leading a team of installation technicians.
• Strong ability to interpret line drawings, schematics, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Install AV systems in commercial environments including displays, projectors, audio, and control systems.
• Pull, terminate, and label network, audio, video, and control cables per AV standards.
• Mount and secure AV hardware such as speakers, projectors, displays, and racks.
• Lead and mentor a team of installation technicians to promote efficiency and quality.
• Test, troubleshoot, and ensure AV system functionality and performance.
