Job summary

tarte is seeking a hands-on engineer in New York City to own the Shopify Plus stack, write code, shape architecture, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to power our global ecommerce business.

You will work on Liquid, Node.js and React apps, AWS Lambda integrations, and partner with Marketing, Merchandising and Product to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions. This hybrid role requires two days in office weekly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of ecommerce engineering across full stack.
• Expertise with Shopify Plus, Liquid, APIs, and apps.
• Strong serverless and AWS Lambda experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Shopify Plus apps and AWS integrations.
• Define architecture and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and merchandising.
