Job summary

EY Studio+ seeks a Commerce Technical Architect at the Manager level who can bring those pieces together. In this role, the successful candidate will operate as a senior client‑facing technical architect, helping organizations define, design and deliver modern commerce solutions.

This role spans multiple platforms and ecosystems, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Shopify and commercetools, and requires leading engagements from discovery through governance and launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 9+ years designing and delivering enterprise commerce solutions.
• Experience as a Technical Architect or comparable technology leadership role.
• Deep implementation experience with at least one leading commerce platform such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, commercetools or SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Experience working across multiple commerce platforms or adapting architecture across ecosystems.
• Experience designing integrations across ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, CMS, CDP, payment, tax, search and marketing tech.
• Experience with API-led, headless and composable commerce architectures.
• Experience leading client-facing workshops, solution design sessions and architecture reviews.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional delivery workstreams.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for enterprise commerce transformations across platforms.
• Bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating objectives into scalable solutions.
• Lead client workshops, architecture reviews and solutioning activities across pursuits and delivery programs.
• Guide platform selection, integration strategy, architecture governance, and decision-making across ecosystems.
• Support proposals, pursuits, RFP responses and executive presentations with solution vision and business value.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated commerce solutions.
• Provide architectural oversight and risk management throughout delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor technical teams and grow EY Studio+ Commerce architecture practice.
