Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) seeks a Senior Software Developer in Washington, DC, to design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust ColdFusion applications, collaborating with Business Solutions and IT teams.

The role requires full lifecycle expertise and strong skills in ColdFusion, database programming, and web technologies. The candidate will design and implement server-side objects, optimize SQL for Oracle, and develop front-end components using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and a modern JS

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall software development experience with a BS/BA degree.
• 10+ years developing & supporting ColdFusion applications.
• 5 years' experience coding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and a JavaScript framework (ReactJS or VueJS).
• 4-5 years' experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures that integrate with ColdFusion applications.
• Experience in designing and modifying Oracle server databases.
• 3+ years of modern development processes.
• Ability to pass a public trust-level background investigation for federal work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ColdFusion-based applications.
• Write and optimize SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures, and functions for Oracle databases.
• Design and implement server database objects including tables, views, indexes, and triggers.
• Conduct application testing and debugging to ensure quality and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of10 yearsof overall experience in software development with B.S or B.A degree
• Minimum of10 years developing & supporting ColdFusion applications
• 5 years' experience coding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and JavaScript framework (ReactJS or Vue JS)
• 4~5 years' experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures that integrate with ColdFusion applications
• Experience in designing and modifying Oracle server databases
• 3Experience with modern development processes
• Ability to pass a public trust-level background investigation as part of the credentialing process to work for our federal clients
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
