Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Coding professional who reviews, accurately assigns, and abstracts professional and outpatient facility codes for encounters. You will support ongoing training of staff and help ensure compliance with regulatory targets.

Responsibilities include developing efficient workflows, applying coding guidelines, identifying documentation gaps, and mentoring staff on complex coding issues while staying current with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of related coding experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • AHIMA certifications referenced in the ad or by incumbents.
