Sentara Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Senior Coding Specialist- Acute Care who will support daily operations, ensure quality and service, and help meet regulatory requirements. You will serve as a technical resource for the coding team and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires 2 years of coding experience and CCS, CIC, CCA, RHIT, CPC, or COC certifications; remote work from VA or NC may be considered for eligible candidates.

Serves as technical resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement activities, staff development activities and daily support to team members. Assists Team Coordinator/Manager in facilitating and monitoring the work process (es) of a designated team.

2 years coding experience and CCS, CIC, CCA, RHIT, CPC, or COC certification(s) required. 1 years Health Information Management experience preferred.

Virginia or North Carolina Remote preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $34.92 - $50.83 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
