Job summary

Set of X is seeking a CNO-focused Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate tools that automate data collection, analysis, and presentation for analysts and operators. You will guide features with AI/ML support, partnering with mission stakeholders and engineers to specify, develop, and test workflows.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, 12 years with B.S. in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years in lieu).

Qualifications

• Production-grade Python development experience.
• Experience in the CNO domain developing tools to aid analysts and operators.
• Experience leveraging HTTP-based APIs to access data.
• Experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets.
• Experience with Git and Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience presenting data analysis results to customers.
• Experience eliciting requirements from stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project from inception to delivery in the CNO domain, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance of full-stack data analysis applications.
• Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions.
• Navigate customer data types to identify and extract relevant information.
• Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows and fix issues.
• Overcome obstacles during project execution.
