Job summary

Advatix, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNO Software Developer to design and develop advanced CNO capabilities for defense and national security applications.

The role emphasizes Python and C/C++, low-level internals, networking, socket programming, troubleshooting, and CNO capability development.

Based in Cary, NC, this full-time position offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates; salary range is $90,000 to $200,000 per year. U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience, or 10+ years experience without degree.
• Experience with low-level internals across Windows/Unix/Mobile/Networking devices.
• Proficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming.
• CNO capability development experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required; TS/SCI with CI poly required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities.
• Manage design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software and systems.
• Apply expert knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, software security, and network technologies.
• Develop software solutions meeting security, performance, and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and system issues.
• Document software designs, development activities, testing procedures, and technical results.
• Communicate project status and challenges with leadership and customers.
• Collaborate with software, systems, cybersecurity teams.
• Ensure software development activities comply with standards, processes, and quality requirements.
• Support software testing, integration, validation, and deployment activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software processes and solutions.
