Job summary

Custom Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a CNC Setup/Operator to set up and run CNC mills and lathes such as Bridgeport, Haas, Hardinge, and Takisawa. The ideal candidate will interpret drawings, tooling sheets, and ensure tolerances are met with strict attention to quality and safety.

The role requires five years of machining experience, blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with precision measuring tools. Compensation is $40.00 - $50.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and strong

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings to understand tolerances.
• Interpret setup documentation and tooling sheets.
• Set up and operate CNC multi-turret and multi-spindle lathes to meet parts per hour requirements.
• Perform quality checks and adjust to hold dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain tools and equipment and perform daily maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to understand tolerances of the parts to be machined.
• Interpret setup documentation and tooling sheets to setup a variety of jobs.
• Setup and operate CNC multi-turret and multi spindle lathes to meet parts per hour requirements.
• Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments to hold dimensions and tolerances.
• Mainsaintain a clean and orderly work area.
