Job summary

GPJ in Las Vegas seeks a Senior CNC Programmer to join our fabrication team on-site. You will create manufacturable CAD models, NC code, and cutting lists, using Cimtech RouterCIM/SolidCIM, AutoCAD, and Inventor, coordinating with engineers and shop staff to meet schedules.

The role requires 6+ years of CAD/CAM experience, strong GD&T interpretation, and a proven ability to optimize machining processes, reduce downtime, and deliver high‑quality parts while maintaining safety and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Programming CNC machines using G-code and CAM software.
• Setting up and operating CNC machining centers, lathes, and mills.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to produce accurate parts.
• Maintain tight tolerances and achieve quality surface finishes.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming, tooling, and machine issues.
• Ensure accurate programming, setup, and inspection of parts.
• Coordinate with shop leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturable CAD models and NC code files.
• Create DXF profiles and beam saw cut lists.
• Produce exploded-view drawings and part labels.
• Collaborate with Staff Engineers, Fabrication teams to meet deadlines.
• Ensure CNC programs suit machines and shop needs.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
