Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or engineering degree preferred.
• 5+ years as CNC Machinist (with manual machining)
• 3+ years as CNC Programmer
• Deep expertise in MasterCAM/SolidCAM, CAD/CAM modeling, and simulation tools.
• Fluent in G-code, M-code, Macro-B, and conversational programming.

Responsibilities

• Program and code: write advanced programs for milling/turning using MasterCAM, long hand G-code, and custom Macro-B logic.
• Simulate and optimize: use Vericut and simulation software to verify programs, edit post-processing parameters, and prevent crashes.
• Design and edit: draw and modify engineering prints and 3D models using CAD/CAM software.
• Troubleshoot and improve: use precision inspection tools and data (Excel VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, DOE) to optimize run times and quality.
• Use Excel to develop reports and transformations of data.
