Job summary

Ethos in Iowa City, IA seeks a skilled CNC Technician & Programmer to create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. You will review detailed technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of machining experience in a job shop, strong CNC programming and CAD/CAM skills (Fusion 360 preferred), and a solid grasp of GD&T. Excellent setup documentation and measurement proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven machining experience with complex parts.
Experience in a job shop environment and ability to hit the ground running.
Proficient in CNC programming.
Proficient in CAD/CAM packages; Fusion 360 preferred.
Proficient with CNC Lathe and CNC Mill practices.
Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings, GD&T.

Responsibilities

Hands-on, driven to succeed through perseverance.
Take a 3D model and input it into CAD/CAM software to make parts run.
Proficient in CNC programming and CAD/CAM workflows.
Set up and write instructions for machining parts.
Proficient with measurement equipment (calipers, mics, depth gauges, bore gauges, etc.).
Read and interpret Technical Drawings with GD&T.
