Job summary

Richardson Electronics seeks an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer with strong Mastercam skills to join our LaFox manufacturing team. You will create programs, set up CNC mills and lathes, and read blueprints to ensure precise parts in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years CAM and CNC programming experience.
• Strong Mastercam programming experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, machining practices, and quality requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create and write CNC programs using Mastercam and CNC programming language.
• Set up and operate CNC machines.
• Read complex blueprints and job orders for specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Select tooling, fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and machining sequences.
• Design and build fixtures and holding devices.
• Set up fixturing for production runs.
• Verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
• Determine materials, machining methods, and sequence of operations.
• Complete required paperwork and production documentation.
• Maintain high standards for quality, productivity, and safety.

Pay Range

$33-$36 per hour plus incentive
