Job summary

Boom Supersonic is seeking a Sr. Machinist to own the most demanding CNC setups in the production cell. You will troubleshoot independently, conduct in-process inspection of critical features, and collaborate with programmers to shape process design.

The role requires mastery of aerospace alloys, multi-machine capability, and strong GD&T knowledge. This is a hands-on, high-precision position at our Centennial, CO facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision CNC machining for aerospace alloys.
• Ability to run multiple machines independently.
• Demonstrated independent troubleshooting of complex machining problems.
• Working knowledge of GD&T MMC, true position, and surface profile.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardest setups in the cell and make judgment calls when specs are incomplete.
• Troubleshoot in real time without the CNC Applications Engineer present.
• Perform in-process inspection on critical features and provide feedback to programmers.
• Help set the technical standard for the cell through the quality of your work.
