Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate and set up CNC machines, perform progressive machining, and maintain quality per OOQ standards. The role emphasizes safety and daily record-keeping in a dynamic shop environment.

The candidate will work on the second shift with shift differential, handling diverse materials and tight tolerances while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and productive manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Credentials/Experience: 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Familiarity with machine setup and tooling handling.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measuring equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines to prints and drawings.
• Perform progressive machining on diverse parts and metals.
• Replace dull tooling and adjust setups as needed.
• Ensure product quality via OOQ standards and metrology tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and clean as per schedule.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Support continuous improvement activities as directed.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
