Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic for a ring rolling mill in Aurora, OH. The role focuses on electromechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of CNC and industrial equipment, with emphasis on minimizing downtime and reliability.

Must document work and coordinate across shifts using CMMS. The candidate will diagnose and repair Fanuc and Siemens controls, perform PLC diagnostics, read electrical schematics, and operate cranes as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of journeyman-level maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with CNC repair and electronic controls, specifically Fanuc and Siemens control systems.
• Proficiency in PLC diagnostics and understanding of control logic (Allen-Bradley and Siemens).
• Experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with safety and environmental policies.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on plant equipment in a ring rolling mill setting.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on CNC and industrial machinery.
• Utilize CMMS to create, update, and close work orders and document shift handoffs.
• Diagnose and repair CNC machines, motors, drives, and electronic control systems (Fanuc/Siemens).
• Read electrical schematics and technical drawings to guide troubleshooting and repair.
