Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior CMO Manager, External Manufacturing to lead oversight of contract manufacturing partners, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance within global pharma operations.

You will interface between internal teams and CMOs, drive governance, KPI tracking, and operational workflows to support reliable, compliant supply of critical biologic/drug products in a remote-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in pharma/biotech manufacturing with CMO oversight.
• Deep experience with deviation mgmt, change control, and QMS.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for drug substance/product manufacturing.
• Cross-functional collaboration across QA, QC, Supply Chain, MSAT, and Regulatory Affairs.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior CMO Manager, External Manufacturing to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will own external manufacturing oversight across contract manufacturing partners, with a strong focus on performance management, governance, and timely delivery. The position will serve as the primary interface between internal teams and external manufacturing organizations to ensure alignment on execution, quality, and operational priorities. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience navigating pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and cross-functional stakeholders to support compliant, reliable supply.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $150,000 – $195,000 annually

Responsibilities
