Memorial Medical Center Las Cruces is seeking a Senior Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time Family Practice role. The position supports physicians and nurses in patient assessments, treatments, and care coordination in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications include CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, BLS within 60 days, and at least 2 years CMA experience with phlebotomy. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and patient-centered care in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent required.
• CCMA, CMA or RMA license required.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of CMA experience.
• Six months phlebotomy experience.
• Experience coordinating clinic operations, inventory, patient follow-up, or provider support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Administer injections, vaccines, meds and other treatments as directed by physicians.
• Demonstrate phlebotomy techniques and specimen collection.
