Job summary

commonFont is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our client-facing team. You will architect, deploy, and optimize secure AWS-based web app architectures, applying DevOps best practices and leading technical engagements for enterprise clients.

You’ll work with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions and to guide clients from discovery through implementation. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and managing production applications in AWS.
• DevOps experience with containers (Kubernetes), Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring (Splunk, CloudWatch).
• Experience building secure, high-availability web application architectures in the cloud.
• Client-facing orientation with the ability to work with senior and technical stakeholders.
• Minimum of a 4-year college degree.
• 5+ years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and optimize secure, modern web application architectures and their associated cloud services.
• Design and deliver technical solutions that map directly to client priorities and business impact, ensuring builds are robust, scalable, high quality, and reflective of industry best practices.
• Lead and oversee complex, high-stakes, multi-threaded technology implementations and advisory engagements.
