Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team. You will partner with business stakeholders to shape strategy, identify opportunities, and develop measurable value-ready solution plans.

You will guide engagements from discovery to deployment, collaborating with vendors and delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure cloud and application initiatives that align with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Experience serving in solution architecture, consulting, technical leadership, or customer-facing technology roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from discovery through implementation.
• Strong experience engaging business leaders to gather requirements and translate objectives into practical designs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for business stakeholders and identify opportunities to leverage technology.
• Lead client engagement activities, including discovery, requirements gathering, and workshops.
• Translate business needs into scalable, practical technology solutions.
• Guide solution lifecycle from concept through deployment and operational transition.

• Collaborate with vendors, delivery teams, and partners to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide leadership to Solution Architects and engineers throughout the lifecycle.
