Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and develop solution strategies delivering measurable value.

You will guide engagements from concept through deployment, coordinating with partners, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution architecture consulting and client-facing technology leadership.
• Lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from discovery through implementation.
• Engage business leaders to translate objectives into implementable designs.
• Strong understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture, security, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical advisor for business stakeholders and opportunities.
• Lead solution discovery, requirements gathering, and stakeholder workshops.
• Translate business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.
• Oversee lifecycle from concept through deployment and operational transition.
• Collaborate with vendors, delivery teams, and the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE).
