Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Architect to work with customers, architects, and partners to design and implement cloud and edge solutions.

You will collaborate with sales, product management, and services to drive innovation and customer success, shaping the direction of Akamai's offerings. In this senior role, you will lead technical engagements, ensure successful deployments, and contribute to the product roadmap while maintaining strong customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or solutions architecture or related engineering roles, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Extensive customer-facing experience in technical roles within cloud-related organizations.
• Demonstrated experience architecting IaaS solutions; professional certifications from ASW/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF are desirable.
• Hands-on expertise across 3+ domains such as Kubernetes, cloud networking, databases, storage, AI, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming, or media-streaming tech stacks.
• Experience with open-source software like Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support and own the technical sales opportunity from discovery to deployment and adoption.
• Collaborate with sales, product teams, professional services, marketing, and partners.
• Lead innovation in solutions and influence the global product roadmap.
• Build technical expertise and leadership for Akamai Cloud/Linode to support business growth.
