Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with computer systems, information technology equipment, and operating systems.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud technologies and services from major providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 7+ years of experience with cloud delivery models (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS).
• 7+ years of experience with agile (scrum) methodologies and ceremonies.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud-based services and architectures.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.
• 7+ years of experience with automation using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates.
• 7+ years of experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud operations tools.
• 7+ years of experience in architecture for software/data projects and strong analytical skills.
• 7+ years coordinating multiple assignments and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead DCO Service Delivery strategic efforts for project delivery and operations.
• Develop architectural blueprints, topologies, and specs supporting business requirements with cloud services.
• Serve as lead cloud engineer guiding initiatives addressing business needs.
• Perform advanced systems analysis including requirements and improvements.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across agency systems and IT groups.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and pipelines to streamline deployments.
• Ensure designs comply with data security requirements (HIPAA, HHSC practices).
• Design and administer scalable cloud-based systems and integrate reporting.
• Lead solution implementation, including testing, and deployment.
• Identify gaps between current and desired states and plan improvements.
