Qualifications

• Within the last ten years, seven+ years programming in Java, C++, or Python.
• Within the last seven years, five+ years designing and developing applications in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments.
• Within the last three years, one+ year of experience with databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, Cosmos DB, or equivalents.
• Within the last three years, one+ year of experience with distributed batch- or stream-processing systems such as Spark, Flink, Beam, or Databricks.
• Within the last three years, one+ year of experience using distributed storage systems such as S3, HDFS, GCS, or equivalents.
• Within the last three years, one+ year of experience with OO design and requirements analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop an evolving suite of operational prototypes driven by state-of-the-art data science techniques for behavioural, geo-temporal, social, and content analysis.
• Research to advance the science of machine learning and statistics for mission problems.
• Work in robust, multi-tenant cloud environments.
