Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering solutions on AWS including database services and infra.
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform for production automation.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and validating outputs.
• Familiarity with secure coding, reviews, and compliance standards.
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and IDEs (IntelliJ/VS Code).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL on managed AWS database services.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Implement key components of a cloud platform, primarily AWS.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and infra automation in Python and Terraform.
• Review and debug code to ensure correctness, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with operations, SRE, security, risk, and controls stakeholders to deliver compliant solutions.
• Advance CI/CD, test strategy, observability, and automated environment provisioning.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with defined validation standards.
• Promote safe use of AI tools and avoid sensitive data in prompts and merges.
