Job summary

Higgsfield AI in San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer to own security across our cloud and ML infrastructure, spanning GPU clusters, training pipelines, and model-serving platforms.

You will design and implement secure cloud architectures, manage vulnerability programs, and enforce access governance while partnering with Security, DevOps, and ML engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure security or security engineering at a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on security across AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience securing ML training/inference infrastructure and GPU clusters.
• Strong networking, operating systems, and cryptography fundamentals.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, Engineering, and ML teams.
• High agency and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, implement, and maintain cloud security tooling.
• Own infrastructure and container vulnerability management across cloud environments.
• Design and implement network segmentation to tighten security.
• Build centralized security monitoring across cloud infrastructure.
• Own access governance and credential management across cloud and internal tooling.
• Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and IT to raise IAM standards.
• Set the technical direction for infrastructure security and lead cross-functional projects.
