Job summary

OneZero Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to own cloud security across DT/EA/CST environments. You will operate Wiz for cloud-based systems, apply zero-trust overlays, and manage security evidence for ATOs.

Requirements include 8+ years in cybersecurity, SECRET clearance, and experience with CNAPPs and cloud security controls. This is a remote role within the National Capital Region, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Eight (8)+ years of cybersecurity or systems engineering experience.
• Active, final SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level III or IAM Level II baseline certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, CCSP, CISM) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience producing authorization evidence (diagrams, configuration exports, scan reports) for ISSOs and assessors.
• Hands-on experience with cloud CNAPP/CSPM platforms (Wiz strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 control implementation in cloud environments and FedRAMP inheritance models.

Responsibilities

• Operate, extend, and monitor the Wiz cloud security platform in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Document controls inherited from CSPs and DT enterprise services in SSPs and RMF artifacts.
• Support cryptographic key management and cryptographic lifecycle activities for cloud/hybrid systems.
• Develop cloud architecture, data-flow diagrams, and evidence for RMF packaging and evidence indices.
• Review vulnerability and compliance scans and drive high-priority findings to closure with deadlines.
• Coordinate with CSPs and cloud-ops teams to validate remediation and maintain security posture.
