Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud security posture across remote-first environments in the United States. You will shape security strategy, implement best practices, and partner with engineering, product, and security teams to protect our platform.

You will drive risk-based decisions, manage IAM and access controls in our cloud environments, orchestrate automated security tooling and IaC, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cloud security programs with IAM
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP
• Proven ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience auditing security controls in cloud environments
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform) and vulnerability testing tools

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership as a cybersecurity expert on architecture, configuration management, and environment design
• Leverage automation tools, configuration management, and IaC to standardize security across environments
• Guide stakeholders such as engineering, product, and leadership to align with security strategies
• Identify and communicate cloud platform vulnerabilities and mitigation options balancing business needs with security
• Maintain knowledge of cloud security technologies and assist lines of business to develop secure solutions
• Drive security improvements in the cloud environment and ensure least privilege access controls are maintained
• Participate in audits with external auditors and internal resources to ensure regulatory and security expectations are met
