Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join the Cloud Security engineering team responsible for building resilient, automated security at scale across our cloud platforms.

You will secure Aurora’s cloud environment, manage IAM roles and policies, enforce security controls, and design security boundaries for resources and services, including Kubernetes workloads and CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in security engineering.
• Understanding of Authentication, Authorization, Zero-Trust in cloud-native infra.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes admission controllers, vulnerability management, supply-chain security, network security, and use of mTLS and PKI.

Responsibilities

• Secure Aurora’s cloud environment in areas including IAM, access controls, and Kubernetes workloads.
• Enforce security controls and design security boundaries for resources and services.
• Provide security guidance involving Cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
• Create automation to solve security problems at the root and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
