Job summary

DRW is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure cloud infrastructure across multiple business units. You will define global security standards, implement controls, and automate secure deployments in AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with technologists to unify cloud security efforts and ensure least-privilege access. You will evaluate and implement security controls, review architecture, and stay ahead of evolving cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
• Strong knowledge of cloud encryption technologies including key management (KMS, HSM).
• 5+ years of AWS experience with exposure to GCP and Azure.
• Proficient with IaC tools Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Kubernetes in Linux environments and security configuration assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit AWS/GCP/Azure environments and recommend changes to reduce risk.
• Support development and unify cloud security efforts across the firm.
• Integrate services and access routes in a data-intensive hybrid cloud environment.
• Provide architectural recommendations to securely deploy cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Create secure hybrid cloud implementations and working examples.
• Assist business units in migrating on-premise software to cloud technologies.
• Stay current on cloud security developments and vendor solutions.
• Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with business units.
• Enhance cloud privilege models to enforce least privilege access.
• Respond to security incidents when they arise.
