We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead design and implementation of cloud security in AWS, ensure HIPAA/HITRUST compliance, and advance AI/GenAI security across the stack. You will work with cross-functional teams to secure data, containers, and CI/CD pipelines in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of cloud security experience.
• Hands-on with AWS services.
• Experience securing containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2).
• Automation to gain efficiencies.
• Zero Trust Architecture experience.
• Programming/scripting proficiency.
• Experience identifying AI security risks.
• Ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS.
• Lead security guardrails, policies, and standards (IAM, network segmentation, encryption).
• Implement Zero Trust architecture principles across cloud-native systems and user endpoints.
• Secure containerized and serverless workloads (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda).
• Assess existing cloud implementations, identifying security issues and prioritizing remediation.
