• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3+ years in a cloud security role.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security across cloud environments.
• Expertise in security architecture, network defense, data protection, and threat modeling.
• Experience in incident response, log correlation, and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; capable of briefing executives.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, development, and operations of secure cloud platforms.
• Responsible for advanced threat detection, incident response planning, cyber resiliency strategy, and compliance with federal security standards.
• Acts as a subject matter expert and collaborates across teams and with external partners to protect mission-critical applications and infrastructure.
• Develops enterprise-wide cloud security policies and incident response plans.
• Designs and improves secure cloud-based architectures and monitoring systems.
• Analyzes security data to detect and remediate threats.
• Guides teams on secure coding and architecture best practices.
• Coordinates vulnerability management activities and provides actionable recommendations.
• Represents the organization with industry and government security partners.
• Oversees COMSEC operations and crypto key management systems.
