Job summary

Talanto is building an AI platform for wealth professionals and is hiring a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to secure our multi-account AWS and Kubernetes environment. This role follows a hybrid schedule with three days on-site in our San Francisco FiDi or Culver City office, offering the chance to build guardrails and manage cloud vulnerabilities at scale.

You will partner with Detection & Response on investigations for cloud-origin events and bring 4+ years of cloud security experience,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cloud security engineering experience.
• Hands-on AWS security (IAM, org/SCPs, KMS, networking).
• Kubernetes/EKS security experience.
• Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• CSPM tooling experience (e.g., Wiz).
• Scripting in Python or Go.
• Experience in regulated environments (fintech/financial services).
• Relevant certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CKS).

• Experience - 4+ years of experience in cloud security engineering:
  • Hands-on securing AWS (IAM, org/SCPs, KMS, networking)
  • Kubernetes / EKS security experience
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CSPM tooling (e.g., Wiz)
  • Comfort scripting and automating (e.g., Python / Go)
• Education - A B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Security or relevant experience
• Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (i.e., AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
