Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a Cloud & Data Engineering security leader to drive security across cloud, DevSecOps, applications, and AI initiatives. You will guide architecture, delivery, and security controls while mentoring engineers and collaborating with executives.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, CI/CD security, and secure AI implementation, with hybrid work in a global, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with proven success leading engineering teams.
• Strong leadership experience mentoring engineers and managing multiple security workstreams.
• Deep expertise in Cloud Security, including identity management, workload protection, container security, IaC, and enterprise security architecture.
• Proven experience implementing DevSecOps practices, CI/CD security controls, automated testing, software supply chain security, and remediation workflows.
• Strong background in Application Security, including threat modeling, architecture reviews, security assessments, and API security.
• Hands-on experience with AI Security, including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, MLOps, and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of AI-specific threats and controls, including prompt injection, data leakage, and unsafe tool execution.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills with experience presenting to executives, architects, security leaders, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer security engagements and provide technical leadership across cloud security, DevSecOps, application security, and AI security initiatives.
• Translate complex security challenges into scalable architectures, implementation roadmaps, and production-ready security controls.
• Manage teams of engineers, oversee technical delivery, and drive outcomes from discovery and design through implementation and handover.
• Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments across cloud platforms, applications, APIs, and AI systems.
• Define and implement DevSecOps strategies, security automation, CI/CD security controls, and remediation workflows.
• Guide the design and security of AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and MLOps platforms.
• Balance security, performance, delivery timelines, and customer requirements while managing risks and stakeholder communications.
