Job summary

General Atomics in San Diego area is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to architect large-scale security enforcement frameworks, automate security solutions, and support enterprise-wide initiatives across AWS and Azure. You will design secure solutions for business needs and lead deployment across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of cybersecurity experience or equivalent.
• Expertise in system security architecture and secure operations.
• Manages technical project scopes and deadlines across teams.
• Influences security procedures and roadmaps.
• Interacts with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Leads teams in solving complex security challenges.
• Operates autonomously and supports high-level planning.
• Experience in engineering, architecture and leadership within cybersecurity.
• Desirable: AZ-305, SC-500, SC-100, CISSP, CISM.
• Desirable: Prisma Access, WAF and NGFW technologies.
• Relevant: AWS Solutions Architect, Palo Alto, M365 Security.
• Ability to obtain government clearance; relocation package available.
