Job summary

Anyscale is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to own the security of our production and cloud infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment (AWS/Azure). You will harden, segment, and monitor environments, and partner with engineering to design secure production systems.

In this hands-on role, you will drive cloud security standards, manage access control and secrets, oversee CSPM and runtime security tooling, and translate findings into prioritized remediations across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering focusing on cloud and infrastructure security, ideally at a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on experience securing multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and container platforms (Kubernetes).
• Strong background in infrastructure-as-code, cloud networking, and identity and access in cloud environments.
• Experience with CSPM and runtime security tooling, turning findings into prioritized actions.
• Ability to own cloud infrastructure security independently and guide cross-team tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture of production and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, including hardening and tenant isolation.
• Own runtime security coverage across Kubernetes environments from deployment to detection of anomalies.
• Partner with engineering on secure infrastructure architecture and design of production environments.
• Own cloud security posture management end-to-end: triage, prioritization, remediation with resource-owning teams.
• Define and drive cloud infrastructure security standards: baseline configs, IaC security, and secret management.
• Drive fine-grained, role-based access to production in collaboration with engineering and IT.
• Feed infrastructure findings into vulnerability management and risk reporting.
