Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Software Development Engineer in McLean, Virginia, offering hybrid work (2 days/week). Build and operate high-availability software for the SDE platform, enabling Physical AI, Edge, and Trusted Environments.

You will work on CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud services, and backend systems with a focus on performance, security, and robust monitoring. The role requires 5+ years of production-grade cloud development expertise, strong backend skills, and a U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production-grade full-stack apps in cloud environments.
• Proficient in Go, Java, Node.js, or C# with at least 2 years in Golang.
• 3+ years distributed architectures using microservices/serverless in cloud.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• CI/CD setup and automated deployments in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software products meeting user needs and market demands.
• Architect secure, scalable backend applications and services.
• Build and operate backend services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Go and CDK language Typescript in backend development.
• Integrate services with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, testable code with performance and security in mind.
• Integrate generative AI tools to accelerate development.
• Communicate design decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders.
