Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop cloud-based RF simulation software. You will work with RF hardware engineers to deliver high-performance simulations and define technical standards.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in software engineering, TS/SCI eligibility, and hands-on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, and Elastic Stack experience. Knowledge of RF tech and Python is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 7 years of proven experience in software engineering and a Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, ActiveMQ, MongoDB, and Elastic Stack or similar.
• Experience with automated deployment pipelines using DevOps tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory or similar platforms.
• Experience working in and with cloud infrastructure like AWS and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and create software for a cloud-based simulation environment with performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Deploy and maintain systems using Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, ArgoCD and Git best practices.
• Evaluate and integrate technologies to optimize performance of software components.
• Define and enforce technical standards for cloud software and infrastructure.
• Integrate simulation tools into the environment to support RF simulations.
• Create documentation of architectures, decisions, and standards.
