Job summary

MX is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the migration of production workloads from on-prem to GCP, design resilient Kubernetes environments, and raise the bar on reliability and developer velocity. You will collaborate with platform, security, and SRE teams to embed policy-as-code and secure governance into scalable cloud abstractions.

You should have extensive hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, IaC, CI/CD, and observability, and you will mentor teams to operate

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a developer, DevOps, SRE, or cloud role.
• 5+ years cloud experience with on-prem to cloud migration.
• 5+ years Kubernetes and microservices operations at scale.
• Exceptional incident triage and debugging skills in high-pressure environments.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end cloud migration from on-premise to GCP.
• Design production-grade Kubernetes environments for high availability.
• Improve incident triage and recovery time with cloud-aware diagnostics.
• Optimize platform performance and ensure reliable deployments.
• Embed security controls and governance into platform abstractions.
• Build shared tooling and patterns for cloud independence.
