Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Centennial, Colorado, is seeking an experienced DevOps professional to define and implement CI/CD and Azure DevOps requirements for diverse development initiatives.

You will help automate builds, monitor delivery pipelines, and contribute to security and compliance efforts across teams. The role requires 5+ years in Cloud Engineering/DevOps, strong scripting (PowerShell) and IaC knowledge, and Azure experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in a Cloud Engineering, DevOps role, or related position required.
• Experience in a software development role using Java, C#, or Python with CI/CD understanding.
• Knowledge of IaC and tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, and Chef required.
• Experience with SOA applications and Azure cloud services preferred.
• Windows Server experience preferred; Linux experience also valued.
• PowerShell or other scripting languages knowledge preferred.
• Azure Architect, DevOps Administrator or similar cloud certification preferred.
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP) preferred.
• Open-source tech, software dev, and systems engineering experience preferred.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain native toolsets in a multi-cloud environment to automate development delivery.
• Partner with Agile Product teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in setting Azure CI/CD and integrations to Azure cloud environments, Artifactory, automation testing tools, Octopus, Jenkins, IaC, Pulumi, etc.
• Work with developers and other DevOps engineers to test system integrity.
• Collaborate with Internal IT Infrastructure to automate code deployments.
• Monitor Azure deployments and application performance.
• Administer tools or environments to support delivery teams.
• Support code deployments and pipeline monitoring across environments; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Vizient Security to implement governance and compliance validations.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to align configuration needs with release schedules.
• Assist other departments by demonstrating proposed solutions.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and tooling trends.
