Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Cloud Database Administrator specializing in Oracle to design, operate, and secure cloud-based Oracle services. You will implement identity management, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, and ensure secure, auditable database operations across security, engineering, and operations teams.

You will manage 19c/23c databases in the cloud, enforce least-privilege access, configure high availability with Active Data Guard and GoldenGate, and govern patching and incident

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of Oracle DBA experience in distributed data platforms.
• Experience designing secure Oracle environments at enterprise scale.
• Proficient in Linux scripting and automation.
• Willingness to work onsite at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain Oracle DB servers (19c/23c) in a cloud environment.
• Enforce least privilege access through roles and security groups.
• Implement baseline security, encryption, auditing, and threat detection.
• Configure and optimize high availability via Active Data Guard and GoldenGate.
• Plan patching, diagnostics, and secure media handling.
• Configure cloud monitoring and logging for audit readiness.
