Job summary

Stellent IT LLC is seeking a Python/AWS Engineer to join a Software Defined Networking team in Atlanta. You will design, build, and maintain automation for AWS networking, security, and cloud infrastructure, focusing on IaC, Python automation, and AWS-native services.

You will create CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and collaborate across cloud, networking and security teams to enable enterprise cloud strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, building, and supporting cloud infra environments.
• Strong AWS experience with networking and infra services.
• Proficient in Python scripting and automation.
• Significant experience with CloudFormation and IaC.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking concepts: VPCs, CIDR, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, segmentation, load balancing.
• Experience designing secure, highly available, scalable AWS environments.
• Experience implementing network security automation and IaC orchestration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated solutions for AWS networking and security infra.
• Build and manage IaC solutions using CloudFormation and related tech.
• Develop Python-based automation for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and workflows.
• Automate network provisioning, security groups, routing, and security controls.
• Deploy and manage AWS-native services for scalable cloud infra.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infra deployment and automation.
• Collaborate with cloud, networking, security, and platform teams on enterprise cloud strategy.
• Support SDN initiatives across AWS environments.
• Develop technical docs, standards, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues.
• Promote automation best practices and continuous improvement.
