Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced software engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale data pipelines ingesting telemetry data and to develop routing intelligence for cloud-scale, multi-tenant environments.

You will contribute across the stack from ingestion through analytics, building cloud-native distributed systems with a focus on scalability and reliability, while collaborating on AI-powered networking solutions and leveraging AI-assisted coding tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Master's degree in Information Systems or related field is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications and processing large-scale data.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale data pipelines ingesting and processing network telemetry at cloud scale.
• Develop routing intelligence to detect, troubleshoot, predict, and mitigate network issues in multi-tenant data centers.
• Build scalable, highly available services on the Mist platform across the stack from ingestion to analytics.
• Design software for cloud-native distributed systems focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop AI-powered networking solutions and improve efficiency.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to boost productivity.
